“It’s Easy Being Green” is a free irrigation and landscape workshop that is designed to help residents learn how to “do it yourself” to create and maintain landscapes and make basic adjustments and repairs to irrigation systems.

The City of Apopka is hosting this event on June 11th from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at:

*Proper planting techniques and plant selection
*Repairing broken irrigation heads
*Micro-irrigation in plant beds
*Correcting misdirected sprays and rotors
*Setting up your irrigation timer
*Testing a rain sensor

Bring your irrigation and landscaping questions, and bring sunblock and outdoor clothes!
